Isotec's business direction currently falls into four 4 categories:
1) Design and manufacture of a standard line of Automated Passage Control (APC) systems for commercial, retail and government use
2) Custom manufacturing
3) Customization/modification of APC systems per customer specifications
4) Development of security devices for Automated Passage Control (APC).
Isotec has developed several product enhancement items as well as new passage control products, i.e., Honeycomb (Hex) Portals and Turnstile Portals for the domestic and foreign markets. Isotec is also in the process of designing a proprietary, patent able, anti-tailgating sensor that will replace cumbersome and inefficient weight sensing systems currently employed in the industry today.
Many dealers and their customers, as well as government agencies, have a specialized project in mind requiring non-standard components and architectural considerations. Such projects are relatively common due to the modular characteristics of the standard design. Isotec is currently engaged in the design and manufacture of passage control systems employing card readers, keypads, weight systems, and biometrics for the DOE and DOD (Air Force).
Perhaps one of the primary strengths in Isotec's positioning is that all products developed are sold commercially through a national sales network, comprised of professionals in the field of applications engineering in the security field. Sales to the government are handled, in most cases, directly by the Company or its sales representatives. Installation is generally performed by government personnel, or under contract with Isotec, or its authorized installers. Isotec equipment is modular in design. All systems, commercial and retail, are extremely portable and can be readily disassembled for installation in other locations, and may be leased through a leasing program.
